Description

The IoT Trainer Kit is a simple but effective hardware tool to understand the stuff of Internet of Things and Cloud communication. The trainer kit consists of Siemens IoT2040 Gateway module along with necessary shield. The OS of this module is programmed to work with Node-Red, a most commonly used IoT platform. Using Node-Red build-in libraries, the following protocol devices can be connected and data transfer will be done from field to IoT Gateway and then to Cloud. The supported protocols / devices are

• RS232
• Any serial devices
• I2C communication
• Direct Digital / Analog sensor interface
• Digital Output
The panel consists of the following components:
1. SIMATIC IOT2040 with
• Intel Quark X1020 processor
• 1 GB RAM
• 2 x Ethernet interfaces
• 2 x RS232/422/485 interface
• Battery-buffered real-time clock
2. Arduino Uno with Proto Screw Shield 1.0
3. SMPS – 24V DC, 5V DV
4. Panel with required sockets, Bread board

Advanced Control Equipments will support interfacing of the following sensors to the IoT Trainer kit and supports Firebase cloud communication (Need gmail account)
